Where healing meets harvest.

A doctor's sanctuary in the green folds of Ernakulam — built slowly, tended quietly, kept for the next generation.

·

La Visnea is not a venture. It is a vocation — a measured answer to a question Dr. Vincent Chakkiath has carried for thirty years of surgical practice: what does it mean to truly tend something?

— Founder's note

The Land

Sixteen acres,
tended like a garden.

Rubber and arecanut rise tall along the boundary. Coconut palms catch the monsoon light. Beneath them, jackfruit, mango, banana, papaya, and a quiet rotation of vegetables share the soil with the animals who call this place home.

Our Philosophy

" We did not build La Visnea to maximize yield. We built it to keep a promise — to the land, to the animals, to the generations that follow.

Visit La Visnea

An invitation to slow down.

The farm is open, by appointment, to those who wish to walk it. A small number of guests stay overnight each season. We respond to every enquiry personally.
